| The Society of Information Theory and its Applications (SITA) was established in 1978. The mission of SITA is to contribute to the development and spread of research on information theory and its applications. SITA affords opportunities for communication and cooperation between society members. The main activities of SITA are: 1) organization of symposiums, workshops, and lecture meetings, 2) publication of newsletters and proceedings, and 3) cooperation with other related societies. |
