How to reach PARMA

By car:

Take the A1 Toll Freeway and exit in PARMA. Maps can be found for example in www.viamichelin.com

By train:

Convenient trains connect PARMA to Milano, Bologna, and Roma. For train schedules, see www.trenitalia.it

By plane:

Parma is served by a small airport. 4 daily flights connect Parma to Roma (Fiumicino airport). These are operated by Air Alps: see www.airalps.it

If you arrive at Milano Malpensa airport, a shuttle service taking you directly to Parma (in approximately 1h45') is being organized by the Symposium. It will be available only upon request: please book when registering.

If you arrive at Fiumicino airport in Roma, you can also reach Parma by train: a train connects directly the airport with the main central station in Roma ('Stazione Termini'). From there, frequent trains will take you to Parma.
