ISITA 2004 Travel Support for Qualified Students

ISITA2004 Symposium Committee supports a part of travel fee for qualified students by the funds of the SITA (Society of Information Theory and its Applications).

(a) Who can obtain the travel support ?
The student who satisfies all the following conditions:
(1) You apply for the support and are approved by the ISITA2004 Committee.
(2) Your paper is accepted and presented by yourself at ISITA2004.
(3) You cannot get any (or sufficient) support for travel fee from your supervisor, your university, a foundation, or other organizations.
(4) Your supervisor endorses your application.

(b) How much money are you supported ?
Between 200 and 400 Euro. The amount is determined depending on your necessary travel fee. It may be balanced not to concentrate the support in some supervisors, universities. Please note that since our budget for the support is not enough, we cannot support your full travel fee.

(c) When can you get the support?
During the symposium after your presentation. After you finish your presentation, you must get the signature of session chair to approve your presentation. Then you get the support at the office of Committee by showing the certificate. Please note that we don't pay the support before your presentation.

(d) The deadline
The deadline of application: August 15, 2004.
Notification of the result: August 25, 2004.
